It's a standing ovation that only SUPERMAN can get. Lex sits and shares a public talk with the journalist Roger Nixon. During their talk, Luthor praises Congressman Morgan Edge for his attempts to pass a resolution against Superman in Congress. Luthor explains why America doesn't need Superman, and that the current President is too weak for America.
